- Bulldogs are 2-0 against the Golden Hurricane in Fresno.
- Rodney Davis had 145 yards rushing and now has 1,016 on the season, making him just the 11th Bulldog ever to eclipse the 1,000-yard barrier. It is also the first time since the 1997-98 years that Fresno State has posted a 1,000-yard rusher in back-to-back seasons.
- It is also the fifth time in seven seasons Fresno State has featured 1,000-yard rushers.
- Paul Pinegar surpassed the 2,000-yard plateau tonight with his 21-of-32, 295-yard performance tonight. He also threw two touchdowns and two interceptions.
- Tulsa's 9 minute 57 second drive to open the second half was the longest against Fresno State this year.
- Fresno State's 455 total yards in a season high, surpassing the former mark of 432 against SMU.
- Stephen Spach's TD reception in the second quarter was his second of the year.
- Jermaine Jamison's four-catch, 102-yard night jumped his yards-per-catch average to 19.3. It was the second time he has gone over 100 yards this year.
- The Bulldogs' 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter was their largest of the season after one period. Their 28-6 advantage at the break was also their biggest halftime edge.
- Fresno State scored right out of the gates tonight, the first time the Bulldogs have punched in a TD on the opening drive of the first or second half in 2002.
- Asen Asparuhov's 36-yard field goal in the fourth quarter was his first attempt in three games. He has now made seven of his last nine kicks, with the misses coming from 52 and 33. The senior Lou Groza Award candidate is 14-of-19 on the season.
- Fresno State's 26 first downs was a season high.
- The 45 rushing attempts was also a season high.
- Kyle Goodman's fourth quarter interception was the first of his career.
- The Bulldogs attempted only two punts, a season low.
- Dartagnon Shack received his first career start as an offensive lineman. He started the Hawai`i game, but it was as a fullback.
- Through 10 contests, Fresno State has yet to start the same defensive lineup in consecutive games this year.
- Tulsa gained only 226 yards of offense, the lowest amount against the Bulldog defense in 2002.
- With the win, Fresno State is now 6-1 after byes under head coach Pat Hill. The Bulldogs have one more bye remaining this year, that coming prior to the regular season finale at Louisiana Tech.
- The win was also the Bulldogs' seventh in a row in the month of November. Fresno State hasn't lost in the 11th month since Nov. 11, 2000, against TCU. The Bulldogs have won nine of their last 10 in November.
- Fresno State has also won nine of its last 10 home games in November under Pat Hill. The loss came against San Diego State in 1997.
