Head Coach Bob Fraley (Thoughts on the Meet)
"We came into the meet with the goal for us to qualify in all of our events. For the most part we did that. Along the way we had a few surprise performances. A lot of our freshmen advanced to the finals from both the men's and women's teams. I am pleased with our performance on the first day. Now we'll see what our team is really made of tomorrow in the finals."
Women's Distance Coach Shannon Lieder (Comments on Kara June in the Steeplechase)
"I am ecstatic for her victory. We both knew coming into the event that she was favored. I am proud of her performance, especially after setting a personal-best in the 1,500 meters and then running another 3,000. Kara has a lot to be proud of."
