FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State brings to a close a grueling road trip tonight against Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs are capping off an 10-day stretch that has seen them play five games in four cities and four different time zones. They are currently 2-1 during that stretch and 12-3 (5-1 WAC) overall after Thursday's 75-73 victory at SMU.
La Tech is 5-6 (2-2 WAC) after falling at home to Nevada 75-67.
Louisiana Tech leads the all-time series 4-2, including victories in two of three last year. The two teams first played against each other in the 1984 NCAA Tournament, when Karl Malone led La Tech to a 66-56 victory. The Bulldogs are 0-2 all-time in Ruston, La. Last season, Fresno State lost both regular season games but knocked Tech out of the WAC Tournament.
