FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State puts its first place standing on the line Saturday night against Nevada. The Bulldogs are 15-3 (8-1 WAC) and have won four in a row and nine of the last 10. They are receiving votes in both the AP and coaches' polls this week.
The Wolf Pack are also on a roll, having won five of their last six to move from the middle of the conference up to second place.
Saturday's game is the first in a streak which sees Fresno State play seven of its last 10 games on the road.
A Reminder...
Fresno State's opponent in the Feb. 22 Bracket Buster Game will be announced on ESPN2's College Gamenight on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. The Bulldogs are guaranteed a road game against another mid-major opponent.
Among the likely candidates to oppose Fresno State are 15th-ranked Creighton, Kent State, Southern Illinois or Western Kentucky. The time of the game and channel ? either ESPN 2 or ESPN Regional ? will also be announced Sunday. Whichever team the Bulldogs play this year will return the trip next year at the Save Mart Center.
