DALLAS- Sophomore forward Katri Nokso-Koivisto (Kokkola, Finland) became Fresno State's first All-WAC First Team selection since 2000 when she was honored at the WAC Women's Soccer Tournament banquet on Wednesday night.
Nokso-Koivisto, a Second Team honoree in 2002, qualified for First Team status to become the Bulldog's most recent selection since the trio of Corrine Atkins, Jill Pearson and Aimee Thompson were all awarded the honor during the 2000 season. Fellow sophomore forward Kortney Lewis was named to the All-WAC Second Team for her efforts.
Nokso-Koivisto has started all 17 games for the Bulldogs this season and ranks second on the team in goals scored (5), points (15) and shots (38). She is tied for first with five assists and currently ranks seventh on the all-time list in points and goals scored. In her last six contests leading up to the WAC Tournament, Nokso-Koivisto has recorded four goals and three assists.
Lewis has been just as impressive, as she currently leads the 'Dogs in the following offensive categories: starts (17), goals (9), points (21), shots (43) and shots on goal (27). Fresno State's leading scorer from a year ago, Lewis has remained a consistent scoring threat again in 2003.

Boise State head coach Steve Lucas earned the 2003 WAC Coach of the Year honor, as the Broncos won their final three games to earn the tournament's No. 4 seed when competition begins tomorrow.
