'Dogs announce the addition of eight tranfers

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's soccer head coach Gabe Bolton announced the addition of eight transfers to the 2026 roster.

Alexis Dueker, a defender, transfers to Fresno State after spending her freshman season at San Jose State. The sophomore played in all 18 matches for the Spartans, making ten starts and recorded two shots on goal in 870 minutes played. Dueker is a local product out of Clovis, California and attended Buchanan High School where she received First Team All-Conference honors and was named Team MVP during her junior and senior seasons.

The Bulldogs picked up another transfer from San Jose State with forward Daisy Torres. The junior appeared in 17 games for the Spartans and recorded her first collegiate goal against Nevada on Sept. 28. Before joining San Jose State, Torres played at CSU Northridge as a freshman before returning back to the Valley to play at Fresno City College. As a sophomore, she helped lead the Rams to a Central Valley Conference Title with 18 goals and 11 assists on the year. Torres lettered all four years at Buchanan High School where she was named the Fresno Bee Larger School Player of the Year during the 2022-2023 season and helped the Bears to a CIF Central Section title in 2021 and a D2 state title in 2021.

Fresno State landed a pair of goaltenders from the transfer portal in Madison Ejgird and Katie Lannon. Ejgird, a native of Hasbrouck, New Jersey, comes to Fresno State from USC Upstate as a sophomore. She appeared in 10 games last season, making seven starts and posted a 4-2-1 record while recording two shutouts. As a junior at Hasbrouck Heights HS, Ejgird compiled a 17-6 record with12 shutouts as she earned NJIC First Team All-League honors. Katie Lannon finished last season at Westmont College where she made one start as a redshirt sophomore, making five saves in a loss to Stanislaus State.

Aryana Martinez comes to the Valley after spending her freshman season at Sacramento State, In 18 games, Martinez tallied 13 starts and scored her first career goal against Eastern Washington. While at Rancho Cucamonga High School, Martinez was a four-year scholar-athlete, named Baseline League MVP as a sophomore, and was First-Team All-Baseline League as a senior.

 Ava Kelly, a forward, transferred to Fresno State from CSU Stanislaus as a freshman. Kelly graduated from Whitney High School in 2025 where she was the team captain of the soccer team. Kelley was also a member of the San Juan Soccer Club prior to attending CSU Stanislaus

Emily Gehrlein-Allen arrives at Fresno State after two years at San Francisco State where she suited up for the Gators in 29 games while making 21 starts. The forward found the back of the net three times as a Gator, including two game-winning goals during her freshman season against Vanguard and Regis. While at Carlmont HS, Gehrlein-Allen was a PAL First Team selection and was inducted into the Women's Soccer Hall of Fame.

Another Valley native enters the fold for the Bulldogs with sophomore transfer Rylee Heffner. The defender from Merced, CA appeared in 40 games over the past two seasons with Fresno City College. Heffner made 39 starts, scored 11 goals, had 13 assists, and helped the Rams power their way to a Central Valley Conference title in 2025 with a 16-0 record in conference play.
