FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State looks to get on the winning track Friday against Arkansas-Monticello, the second game of the 25th annual McCaffrey Classic. The Bulldogs have begun this season with back-to-back losses, the first time that has happened in 40 years. Fresno State currently has a streak of 10 consecutive victories in the McCaffrey Classic dating back to a loss to Princeton in the 1995 tournament. This year's Classic has predetermined matchups for both days for the first time in history.
Tonight's game is the first ever meeting between Fresno State and Arkansas-Monticello. In fact, the Bulldogs have never even played a team from the Gulf South Conference, of which UAM is a member.
