FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State wraps up it stretch of three consecutive conference road games Saturday night against Boise State. The Bulldogs are in first place with a 16-4 (9-2 WAC) record after taking out UTEP 76-63 on Thursday.
The Broncos are 10-10 (4-6 WAC) after suffering a 67-64 defeat to Nevada on Thursday, their sixth loss in their last eight games.
The Bulldogs lead the all-time series 7-2, including a 61-54 victory in the Jan. 9 meeting at Selland Arena. The two teams first hooked up in 1976 and proceeded to play six times over the next eight years. Until last year, Fresno State and BSU had not played since 1984. The Bulldogs hold a 3-1 all-time edge against the Broncos in Boise, Idaho.
