Golf is Tied for Eighth After First Round

AUSTIN, Texas- The Bulldogs are tied for eighth with 293 after the first round of the 18-team Morris Williams Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M. The 'Dogs were unable to finish the second round due to sunlight. The second round will resume today.
Individually, senior Nick Watney is tied for seventh out of 90 players, with a first round of 70, junior Jeremy Moreno is tied for 35th with a 74, sophomore Ryan Carter is tied for 46th with a 73, junior Chad Spencer is tied for 55th with a 76 and freshman Ryan McDonald is tied for 69th with a 77.
The 'Dogs will continue play today with a tee time of 7:15 a.m.
