FS is making its first trip to Westwood since 1976 ... Mike Batesole compiled an 8-4-1 record (4-3 at Jackie Robinson Stadium) against UCLA as the head coach at Cal State Northridge.

Casey Janssen (Friday night's scheduled starter) struck out nine and walked one in four shutout innings ... Hector Ambriz (Saturday's probable starter) pitched the final five innings, scattering a run on three hits while fanning four to earn the victory ... Matt Thayer went 3-3 with two RBI including a solo home run to pace the Bruin offense ... Gary Adams is in his 30th year as the Bruins' head coach ans sports a 949-794-7 record ...
