First Spring Scrimmage Scheduled for Friday

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State will conclude its second week of spring drills on Friday with a scrimmage at the Bulldog Practice Facility. The scrimmage will begin at 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
Friday's scrimmage will signal the midpoint of the spring practice session. The spring game is scheduled April 2 at Bulldog Stadium.
"We have had a great spring so far," said head coach Pat Hill. "The players and coaches are working hard and we have a lot of god competition for a several positions. Overall, this has been a productive spring and I know it will get us ready for the season opener against Washington, which is just 171 days away."
The Bulldogs, winners if six of their final seven games in 2003, including a 17-9 win over UCLA in the Silicon Valley Football Classic, return 18 starters, nine on offense and eight on defense. The Bulldogs have won 29 games over the last three seasons, sixth most of any program in the nation. The Bulldogs open the 2004 season at Washington,
