Bulldogs Hold Spring Football Scrimmage Friday in Visalia

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State head football coach Pat Hill will be taking the Bulldogs to the South Valley on Friday, March 26, for a scrimmage at Visalia's Central Valley Christian High School. The scrimmage will begin at 6 p.m. and is open the public.
The Fresno State Quarterback Club members from Visalia are hosting the event, which will include an autograph session after the scrimmage with Bulldog players and coaches. Concessions, including tri-tip sandwiches, will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Central Valley Christian High School Stadium is located at the corner of Tulare and Akers Avenues south of Highway 198.
"We have great fans in Visalia," said Hill. "We are excited to get out into the Valley and showcase the 2004 Bulldogs. We have high expectations for the upcoming season and are looking more forward to this scrimmage. It will give us a chance to look at the Bulldogs. The spring session is very important for our development and improvements."
The Bulldogs, winners if six of their final seven games in 2003, including a 17-9 win over UCLA in the Silicon Valley Football Classic, return 18 starters, nine on offense and eight on defense. The Bulldogs have won 29 games over the last three seasons, sixth most of any program in the nation. The Bulldogs open the 2004 season at Washington on Sept. 5
The spring game is scheduled April 2 at Bulldog Stadium.
