Bulldog Court Report -- vs. Harvard

Following are the thoughts of Fresno State women's tennis players Lucia Sainz and Katharina Winterhalter following the Bulldogs' 6-1 victory over Harvard on March 29:
Lucia Sainz
I think that we played awesome today. We played smart in doubles, and in singles we overcame the adversity of starting every match down 0-1 and losing every first set. I think that even though the final result was 6-1, it was a much closer match than that. But we really supported each other and cheered each other in every match."
"This victory is great for us because we will have more confidence in the future matches. Everyone of us did a great job and we played like a team outside and inside of every court."
Katharina Winterhalter
"The match against Harvard was definitely one of a kind. We knew that it would be a battle, and it was, especially with the one-game penalty we all faced. But all of us stayed mentally tough and fought back hard. We all came together as a team and I am very proud to be a part of it."
