WAC Media Day Interviews Available Via Internet

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State head football coach Pat Hill -- and all Western Athletic Conference football coaches -- will have their WAC Media Day press conferences streamed live to the Internet for fans to watch and listen.
Fans can view the Media Day activities by visiting www.fancast.net/wacfootball.htm. The event, being held in Reno, Nev., includes 30-minute discussions and interviews with all 10 football head coaches and one hour with Commissioner Karl Benson. Each coach will preview his team and will give insight into his top players and opponents for the upcoming 2004 football season.

"We are pleased to be able to provide our fans with this chance to view and listen to all of the coaches on the Internet," said Benson. "With the first games just weeks away, it is a good opportunity for everyone to start getting excited about the upcoming football season."
The WAC preseason poll will be released Wednesday, with Fresno State expected to be at or near the top. Several authorities, such as collegefootballnews.com, Athlon's and Lindy's. Boise State and Hawaii are also expected to be vying for the top spot in the preseason rankings.
