Fresno - With two weeks until the season opener at Washington on Sept. 5, the Fresno State football team went through its third scrimmage of fall camp Sunday. The scrimmage, held at Bulldog Stadium, was not full-contact and tackling was not allowed. "Today was a good day of practice," head coach Pat Hill said. "We were able to get through a lot of plays in a lot of different situations and getting them on film so that we can evaluate will be very helpful. Now we can settle in and get the players into their school routine for the rest of the week." Highlighting the scrimmage session was the play of quarterbacks Paul Pinegar, Tom Brandstater and Jordan Christensen, who all looked sharp in the scrimmage. Since it was not a true scrimmage, no statistics were kept. After taking Monday off, which is the start of the academic year at Fresno State, the Dogs resume practice Tuesday and will continue to practice daily through the rest of the week. The Bulldogs will hold a "Mock Game" on Saturday in preparation for the season opener. Hill also announced that two defensive reserves, sophomore defensive tackle Johnny Sotelo and redshirt freshman cornerback Martin Henderson, have quit the program. Season tickets for the 2004 season are still available. There are still good seats available in both Family Value Plans, which range from $ 325 to $ 250 for a family of four.
