Cech, Tadevosian Advance in Doubles at Bulldog Classic

FRESNO, Calif. - Day two of the Fresno State men's tennis Bulldog Classic is in the books. Although three `Dogs lost in the main draw of the Flight A singles competition, there were some bright spots.
Junior Jakub Cech and sophomore Sam Tadevosian advanced in the main draw of the Flight B doubles competition. Trailing throughout the match, the Bulldogs maintained composure and rallied. The duo finished out the match in tie breakers winning 9-8 (0).
"Jakub and Sam saved two match points, which was great," said head coach Jay Udwadia. "We're still working out some things and trying different combinations in doubles, so there's work to be done."
The Flight A singles final pits two Bruins, Mathieu Dehaine and Jeremy Drean of UCLA. Matches get underway tomorrow at 9 am.
