- The game was played in a downpour of rain, the first wet game for the Dogs since playing in the sleet at Boise State in 2003.
- Fresno State had just one takeaway in the game an converted it into a touchdown. The Bulldogs have scored 28 points this season from opponents turnovers and lead the WAC with a +3 turnover margin.
- All-America candidate Garrett McIntyre played his first game since the season opener. He suffered a sprained ankle against Weber State and missed the last two games.
- Jaron Fairman's 19-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter was the second TD reception of his career.
- With 17 points in the first quarter, Fresno State has outscored its opponents 48-7 in the first quarter this season.
- Joe Fernandez has a reception in 20 of his last 21 and 24 of 30 career games. He has caught a pass in 14 consecutive games. He had his first career kickoff return.
- Fresno State's 14 -play drive in the second quarter was the longest of the season.
- Fresno State had 13 first downs in the first half against the Aggies, the most in a half this season, and the same number it had for the entire game in last week's win over Toledo.
- Adam Jennings had one kickoff return for 63 yards and improved his season return average to 34.8, which is the best in the WAC. He added his first career fumble recovery in the third quarter.
- Bryson Sumlin had a 30-yard run in the third quarter, the longest run by a Dogs this year. He moved into 8th place on the Bulldog career rushing yardage list with x,xxx yards.
- Since missing the first field goal attempt of his career, a 53-yarder against Weber Sare, Clint Stitser connected on six consecutive field goal attempts, including a career-high three field goals in the rain against New Mexico State. He was 3-4 in the game.
- Paul Pinegar scored his first rushing touchdown of the season with a QB sneak on the first play of the fourth quarter.
- When Stister missed a 30-yard field goal in the third quarter, it marked the first time the Bulldogs failed to score in the red zone this season. Fresno State had scored on 17 consecutive red zone chances to start the season.
- Fresno State has won its last eight games when leading at halftime. The Bulldogs have won 24 of their last 25 games when holding a halftime lead.
- The Bulldogs didn't allow any punt return yards tonight and still lead the NCAA, allowing just three yards all season.
- Two Bulldogs, Wendell Mathis and Bryson Sumin, each rushed for more than 100-yards, marking the fourth time that duo has accomplished that feat. It was the first time this season Mathis surpassed 100 yards and the second straight game for Sumlin.
- The Bulldogs improved to 12-0 all-time against the Aggies.
