- Clint Stitser's 27-yard field goal in the first quarter was the first of his career.
- Paul Williams 43-yard reception on the first play from scrimmage matched his career long, which he achieved last year in a 35-16 rout at Washington.
- Fresno State has outscored its opponents 31-0 in the first quarter so far this year.
- Fresno State has committed 27 penalties already this year, including 16 fouls in tonight's game for a total of 155 yards.
- Paul Williams established a career-high in receptions with five. His 36-yard touchdown reception that brought Fresno State within 30-27 in the third quarter was the first of his career.

- Paul Williams tallied 122 receiving yards, signaling the first time a Bulldog player registered a 100-yard receiving game since Nov. 29, 2003 against UTEP.
