| Freshman Taylor Siebert of the women's golf team has been named the Toyota/gobulldogs.com Athlete of the Week for Sept. 19. Siebert, a freshman from Selma, Calif., tied for fifth with a 1-under 215 at the Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic, the Bulldogs' first tournament of the 2005-06 season. She also helped Fresno State to a third place finish in the 18-team field as it registered all three rounds under 300. She was competing in her first collegiate event. The women's golf team next competes in the Nevada Wolf Pack Invitational Sept. 26-28. Received consideration: Paul Pinegar (football), Cortney Sobrero (soccer) and Kasie Spencer (volleyball).
