Game Information
Fresno State closes out its five-game homestand against Utah State and brings a 3-1 homestand record into its Western Athletic Conference opener against the Aggies. While 5-1 at home overall, the Bulldogs' next 12 games are all league contests before playing their final non-conference opponent on Feb. 18 (ESPN Bracket Buster).
The Series
Fresno State and Utah State are meeting for the 37th time. The two last met on Jan. 4, 2000 when the Aggies posted an 83-66 home victory. They hold a 20-16 all-time series lead. Head coach Steve Cleveland is 4-3 all-time against USU.
WAC Season Fully Underway
While Utah State and Hawai'i played each other in league play last month, the 2005-06 WAC season officially got underway this past Thursday. Saturday's conference schedule features New Mexico State at Boise State, Louisiana Tech at Idaho and Nevada at San Jose State in addition to the Bulldogs hosting Utah State.
