A few key dates to keep in mind as the 100 Days to Bulldog Football Countdown continues:
- Sat., Aug. 12: First Scrimmage
First chance to catch the Bulldogs as they gear up for the 2006 season.
- Sat., Aug. 19: Fan Appreciation Scrimmage
Fans are invited, free of charge, to attend the scrimmage and participate in tailgating activities. Prize giveaways, promotion info and autographs highlight the event.
- Sun., Aug. 20: Quarterback Club Kick-Off Dinner
To be held at the Fresno Convention Center, starting at 5 p.m. Tailgate attire and tailgate menu. Tickets will go on sale in early July. For additional information, please call the Quarterback Club office at 559-278-7801 or email lynne@csufresno.edu.
- Thu., Aug. 31: Red Zone Rally
Location and time to be announced in early August. A great way to prepare for the season opener, scheduled for the following evening against Nevada.
- Fri., Sept 1: Season Opener vs. Nevada
Fresno State looks to begin the 2006 season strong when rival Nevada visits Bulldog Stadium. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN2- one of five Bulldog contests to be shown on either ESPN or ESPN2 this year.

Fresno State's 2006 home schedule- which kicks off Sept. 1 against Nevada- features opponents such as Oregon, Colorado State, Hawai'i, New Mexico State and Idaho.
