FRESNO, Calif.
Fresno State Football has announced that the homecoming game for 2007 will be the Oct. 14 matchup against the Hawai'i Warriors. The Bulldogs won their homecoming game in 2006, defeating Utah State 53-21 in front of a packed Bulldog Stadium.
The 2006 game is the only home game for the Bulldogs in the month of October, and is strategically placed after a trip to Logan, Utah to face Utah State and before the Oct. 21 trip to LSU to face the Tigers in Baton Rouge, La.
One of the Bulldogs fiercest rivals in the WAC, the Bulldogs have won two straight games against Hawai'i, defeating the Warriors 27-13 on the island, one year after a 70-14 thrashing at Bulldog Stadium in 2004. The Bulldogs will look to make it three in a row on Oct. 14, 2006 for Homecoming 2006! * * *
