Veerepalli Advances to Consolation Semifinals

FRESNO, Calif. - Sophomore Tejesvi Veerepalli is on a roll, winning his last four matches including two on Saturday during the consolation rounds at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Championships in Malibu, Calif. Veerepalli is the only member of the Bulldogs remaining in the tournament.
Veerepalli beat Khunpol Issara of UC Irvine 6-3, 6-4, then followed with a straight-set defeat of Stephen Stege, also of UC Irivine.
Sophomores Taylor Leiby and Flavio Mollinedo both lost in the consolation rounds on Saturday.
Veerepalli will continue in the consolation semifinals on Sunday at 10 a.m.
