Bulldogs Continues Split Action this Weekend

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's team had split action on Friday, getting wins at the Rebel Classic in Las Vegas and the Southern California Intercollegiate Championships in Los Angeles. Junior Rudolf Siwy and sophomore Mirko Zapletal got two wins in doubles and advanced to Saturday's semifinals.
At the UNLV Rebel Classic, sophomore Flavio Mollinedo and freshman Siddharth Alapati advanced to the Flight 2 semifinals. Mollinedo beat UNLV's Rony Yeghnazary in straight sets and Alapati topped Fresno Pacific's Victor Medina 6-4, 6-0.
In doubles, Alapati and Mollinedo beat King and Spinazze of Arkansas while Tejesvi Veerepalli and Denny Fafek had a bye.
Action continues for the Bulldogs on Saturday at both locations.
