Senior outfielder, Loren Storey, looks forward defending the Bulldogs WAC title in his last season. After transferring to Fresno State as a junior out of Branson, Mo. Storey helped lead his team to win the WAC Championship. With one successful season, Storey and his squad look forward to trying to win back-to-back WAC championships, which would be a first for Fresno State baseball.
Storey, a first-team ALL-WAC outfield selection, helped the `Dogs advance in the WAC tournament with a game-winning RBI against San Jose State in the bottom of the ninth. A left-handed batter, Storey has proved to be a great addition to the line-up.

Why did you pick Fresno State?I liked the atmosphere and where the program was headed, I knew coming in as a junior that our team was going to do some good things and I wanted to be a part of something special.
When did you start playing baseball? WhyI started playing when I was 5 years old at the little league park in Salinas, CA. I started playing because I loved hitting and pitching because at one time I could throw really hard but what 5 year old wasn't the best pitcher and hitter!
Do you have any special rituals you do before a game?I always have to have some sunflower seeds, gum, or something to eat during the game because its gets boring in the outfield at times all by yourself.
If you weren't playing the sport you are now, which sport would you want to play?I would definitely play football, I only played one year in high school but it was the most fun time of my life. I was the running back.
What is something surprising most people don't know about you?A shark bit me when I was 5 years old at the Monterey Bay aquarium. I have a tattoo on my back. I also have asthma.
What is the best part of being a college athlete?Meeting all your college teammates, athletes from other sports, and going to opposing schools and playing on their fields. The support from the fans is definitely the best part of being a college athlete. And we can't forget about all the good times with the buddies.
What do you like to do in your spare time?I enjoy going out to eat and chilling with my teammates. I like to catch a movie on occasions and sit on my couch and do absolutely nothing.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?I was trying to catch a fly ball during practice and I tripped and fell and the ball hit me in the head. It hurt and I had a big bruise on my head.
Who are your favorite sports heroes?I am going to say Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, and Muhammad Ali
What's your favorite movie?Beerfest, Talladega nights, Independence Day, all the Fridays, Grandmas Boy, and American history X just to name a few.
What has changed since you came to Fresno State?There is a new library and the street chestnut is not open anymore and that bothers me because it's the way I go to school in the morning.
What do you want to do after you graduate?I want to go out and travel the world for about 5 years, and after that settle down.
What is the highlight of your sports career? Favorite athletic moment?Hitting the game winning RBI in the San Jose State game at the WAC tournament in the bottom of the ninth.
What is your favorite food?I love Puerto Rican food. But my favorite food has got to be a robertitos power or California burrito with hot sauce!!!! Whooooo
Most missed memory?Getting to see my friends and family on a regular basis.
Favorite television shows?I love Family Feud, Deal or No Deal, The Block, CSI, and The Girls Next Door.
What CD is in your player right now?I don't play CDs anymore, but what I have been plying a lot in my I pod, I will say Fat Joe and Lil Wayne- make it rain.
What is your dream job?Being the owner of a fortune 500 company and own a major league team... The St. Louis cardinals.
What is your most valued possession? Why?I would have to say a card that my mom and dad gave me before I came out to Fresno to play and it basically said that we believe in you and hope that you succeed in baseball and in life.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?I have never been on a vacation before but I'm going to Hawaii in about 2 months so that should be a good time.
