The Fresno State women's soccer program has announced they will be holding five sessions of the Fresno State Soccer Academy during the upcoming summer. The first three sessions will be held on June 11-14, and the team will hold two other sessions from July 9-12 and July 30-August 1.
Head coach Steve Springthorpe along with assistants Chris Shaw and Christine Johnson will guide all of the sessions during the academy. This will include a coed session for ages 5-9 during June 11-14, a girls-only session during those same dates for ages 10-13, and a matching boys session for the same ages in during that first set of dates.
Younger soccer players can also participate in session four, another coed camp for ages 5-9 held over four days on July 9-12. The final session for the summer is the team camp, slated for July-30 through August 1. That camp, held for girls only, is specifically tailored to help club and high school teams with technical proficiency and awareness along with improving communication and building team chemistry.
More information on the Fresno State Soccer Academy, including prices, session times and specific details on each session can be found by viewing the brochure found on the Fresno State soccer website at www.gobulldogs.com.
