FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State officials today announced the upcoming football game with Oregon will be televised on the Bulldog Sports Network.
Associate Athletics Director Paul Ladwig announced the addition today, which means every 2007 road Bulldog game will be shown in the Fresno market, four on the Bulldog Sports Network, and one each on ESPN2 and Fox Sports Net.
"Adding the Oregon game to the BSN schedule is wonderful for Bulldog fans and the program," said Ladwig. "We expect the Fresno State and Oregon game to be another classic college football game. This has become one of the best out-of-conference series in the west. We are pleased to be able to provide five Bulldog Sports Network broadcasts to our fans this year."
Fresno State and Oregon, which play Sept. 15 at historic Autzen Stadium, have played each of the last two seasons. This will be the fourth meeting since the 2002 season. The three previous games have been decided by a total of 14 points. Last season, the Dogs lost to No. 10 Oregon 31-24 at Bulldog Stadium.
In addition, the game time has been switched to 3:30 p.m. PT to accommodate Pac-10 television parameters, as it will also be shown on Fox Sports Northwest. Oregon officials announced the game is soldout.
BSN has expanding its coverage footprint for Bulldog telecasts this year. The games will now be seen in Bakersfield, Calif., on new affiliate KUVI, and BSN telecasts will be a part of Comcast Sports Net, taking the Bulldogs into markets in Northern California, including the Bay Area, Sacramento and Reno, Nevada. The BSN broadcasts will now reach close to 3.2 million homes in 2007-08.
