`Dogs Draw UCLA in First Round

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State soccer's post season run continues this Friday, Nov. 14, as the Bulldogs face No. 1 seed UCLA at 5:30 p.m. This is the third time the Bulldogs have advanced to the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
"It is an honor to represent our conference and school in the tournament," said head coach Steve Springthorpe. "We are excited to be able to show what our team and conference is capable of."
The first NCAA appearance for the `Dogs was in 1999 in which they lost in the first round to Cal Poly, 2-1. The most recent trip to the tournament for the Bulldogs was in 2005 where they lost to No. 2 seed Santa Clara, 4-0.
Also headed to Los Angeles are Long Beach State and San Diego. First round matches will take place on Friday and the second round will be played on Sunday. All matches will be played at Drake Stadium.
Tickets for the matches are $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for youth/students.
"Join the State, Fresno State!" The 'Dogs head to Los Angeles to face No. 1 seed UCLA in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs kickoff at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 14 at Drake Stadium.
