Breckley Named WAC Pitcher of the Week

Fresno, Calif. - - Fresno State senior pitcher Jason Breckley has been named the WAC Pitcher of the Week for May 5-11. This is the first time Breckley has received the award this season and the third Fresno State pitcher to be honored.
Breckley, a senior from Moorpark, Calif. (Moorpark HS), pitched in two games last week for the Bulldogs. Breckley pitched one inning with two strikeouts and no hits against No. 25 Long Beach State. He then picked up his second save of the season, pitching 3.2 innings with a strikeout to help the Bulldogs to a 5-3 win over San Jose State. Breckley is fourth on the all-time career save list with 11 at Fresno State.
