Bulldog players and coaches are looking forward to the scrimmage.
"We have been working hard and it will be fun to put the pads on and see what we can do in live action," said quarterback Tom Brandstater. "Camp is going well. We need to stay focused and keep getting better every day."
Head coach Pat Hill also knows this scrimmage will be important for players and coaches. He said the Dogs will scrimmage for approximately 100 plays.
"The scrimmage will help us as coaches make some decisions on personnel and positions," said Hill. "It's a great teaching day because we will be able to better evaluate the players and get a better feel of the team. We've only had one day of full pads and that was yesterday. We have to be careful because guys are tired and we don't want to get anyone hurt."
