Student Football Season Tickets Available

FRESNO, Calif. - With the bells of the clock tower ringing again as classes start for the 2008 fall semester, students are back on campus and have an exclusive opportunity to watch Fresno State athletics during the 2008-09 school year.
At only $60 for season tickets, students get the best available price and the chance to be a formidable force on the south side of Bulldog Stadium in a sea of red.
"The student section at Bulldog Stadium provides such a great lift for to our team," head football coach Pat Hill said. "We have great student support and their volume and enthusiasm make Bulldog Stadium a tough place for opponents to play. We think this season, with the game against nationally-ranked Wisconsin, is going to be something special."
All season tickets include the first visit to Fresno by a Big Ten team when the Wisconsin Badgers enter Bulldog Stadium under the lights for the Sept. 13 home opener with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. If available, student single game tickets for Wisconsin will go on sale September 1.
"Of the approximately 4,000 season tickets allotted for students, there are less than 3,300 student season tickets remaining for the 2008 football season," Director of Ticket Operations Russell Hayden said. "Buying season tickets is the only way to guarantee an opportunity to be a part of the Wisconsin game."
For all other regular season home Fresno State athletic events admission is free of charge. Students can simply present their student ID at the facility box office on the day of the event to gain admission. For men's basketball, tickets can also be picked up in advance at the University Student Union.
Students can join the "Red Zone," the largest student organization on campus, for an additional five dollars when buying football season tickets. A "Red Zone" membership provides students a t-shirt, gameday prizes, priority seating, and the chance to participate in roadtrips to selected away games.
"There is no other experience as a Fresno State student that exemplifies the passion, emotion, and excitement of being a Bulldog quite like cheering with more than 4,000 other students in the "Red Zone" section," ASI President Mackee Mason said.
Tickets can be purchased by going online to www.gobulldogs.com, through the University Student Union, or by visiting the Bulldog Ticket Office.
"Join the State - Fresno State!" - The first Big Ten team will travel to the Valley on September 13th as the No. 25 `Dogs take on Wisconsin in the home opener at 7:30 pm.
