FRESNO, Calif. - Senior Rudolf Siwy and junior Mirko Zapletal will get a head start on the fall season this weekend at the H.E.B. Invitational at Baylor University. Siwy and Zapletal were the only members of the men's tennis team invited to the eighth annual tournament beginning Friday.
"We've had three weeks of tough training," said Head Coach Jay Udwadia. "Now is the time to perform and get the competitive juices flowing for these two."
The tournament consists of two 64-player singles draws, flight A and B. There will also be two 32-team doubles draws. Siwy and Zalpetal will both be featured in the A-draw of singles.
