Fresno State sends Four to Round of 32

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State opened the ITA Northwest Regional, the last tournament of the fall season, with four Bulldogs advancing to the Round of 32 on Friday at Berkeley, Calif.
Fresno State's David Ayoun, Tejesvi Veerepalli and Rikus de Villiers each picked up two wins on the day to earn a berth in the Round of 32. Senior Mirko Zapletal received a first round bye and got past Saint Mary's Andrea Zannoni, 6-1, 7-6 (7), to advance also.
Five the six Bulldogs competing picked up wins in the first round.
