Zapletal Contends with Cunha in Second Round

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State's Mirko Zapletal battled Henrique Cunha of Duke in the second round of the ITA All-American qualifiers on Tuesday in Tulsa, Okla., but the Blue Devil came away with a 6-2, 6-3 victory.
Cunha started out by winning the first set, 6-2, and followed that by collecting the second set, 6-3, to advance to the final qualifying round.
Fresno State will next be in action at the ITA Northwest Regional in Berkeley, Calif., on Oct. 16-19.
