FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State outfielder Dusty Robinson has started 10 of 15 games for the Bulldogs as a freshman. He hit the first home run of the season against Washington. Robinson is hitting .300 with two doubles, two home runs and four RBIs.
Robinson sat down with gobulldogs.com and answered some tough questions.
GB: Why did you choose Fresno State?
DR: I chose Fresno State because I loved the atmosphere that the fans bring to the game. I also liked the coaching the staff.
GB: What is your favorite thing about Fresno State baseball?
DR: The way that they play the game as a team.
GB: What is your pre-game ritual or superstitions?
DR: To do the exact same thing as I did before. Whatever I did before the last game I do again.
GB: When you aren't playing baseball you are...
DR: Hanging out with friends and family or playing Xbox 360.
GB: Who is your sports hero and why?
DR: Pete Rose for the way that he played the game.
GB: What is something that most people don't know about you?
DR: That I am a quiet person until I get to know people.
GB: What has been the highlight of your sports career?
DR: Winning a Valley championship or the first college home run.
GB: What is playing on your ipod?
DR: Some good old country.
GB: What is your favorite movie?
DR: Super Troopers.
GB: What is your favorite TV Show?
DR: Sports Center.
GB: What is your favorite class?
DR: Drama 62 with Dan Carrion.
Robinson and the Bulldogs head to Los Angeles to play a four-game series against LMU March 20-22.
