Bulldogs Arrive in Los Angeles Photo Gallery
LOS ANGELES - The Fresno State women's basketball team has arrived in Los Angeles for the its second straight trip to the NCAA tournament. The Bulldogs practiced this morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the North Gym and then went back to their apartments to pack in preparation for the three hour bus ride.
The team bus pulled out from the North Gym at 11:30 a.m. There was a good crowd of supporters to give the Bulldogs a good send off. The band, cheerleaders and Timeout all were there along with staff from the Fresno State campus and fans from around the community.
To get on the bus the team walked through a human tunnel out of the North Gym Annex. As coach Adrian Wiggins got on the bus he turned the crowd and said "See You in L.A."
The Bulldogs arrived at the team hotel, the Wilshire Plaza Hotel, at 3:30 p.m.
