Bulldogs Shutout Roadrunners

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State soccer team started the off season with a spring game against Cal State Bakersfield. The Bulldogs traveled south to face the Roadrunners in their first scrimmage game.
The defending WAC Tournament Champions continued to be an unstoppable force in the back field. The `Dogs recorded a shutout as the Bulldogs ended the game in a 0-0 tie after 90 minutes of play.
The Bulldogs will continue to play in scrimmage games all spring to prepare for the 2009 season.
"Join the State - Fresno State!" - The `Dogs return to Beiden Field March 7-8 to host Buffalo in a two game weekend series. The `Dogs and Bulls will square off Saturday at 2:05 and Sunday at 1:05. The first 1,000 fans through the gates each day will receive a 2009 schedule magnet compliments of Bohlken A/C. All kids can run the bases after Sunday's game.
