Jordan Named WAC Track Athlete of the Week

FRESNO, Calif. - The Western Athletic Conference named Fresno State's Latrisha Jordan the WAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week April 7-13.
Jordan ran her third NCAA regional qualifying time in the 400-meter hurdles at the Sun Angel Classic in Tempe, Ariz., over the weekend. The freshman from Ceres, Calif., timed a 59.11 for second place among collegiate competitors, despite strong winds and unseasonably rainy conditions. Jordan also anchored the Fresno State 4x400 relay squad that finished in first with a time of 3:46.43.
This is the second-career WAC Athlete of the Week honor for the freshman.
The Bulldogs have had four WAC Track and Field Athlete of the Week honorees in the 2009 outdoor season.
Utah State's Sonia Grabowska was named WAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week.
