Four Bulldog Men Named All-WAC

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State senior Rudolf Siwy and junior Mirko Zapletal garnered All-WAC honors on Thursday for their performance during the 2008-09 season.
Siwy was named First Team All-WAC for the second time in his career. The senior from Trinec, Czech Republic, was 23-12 on the year with a 4-2 record against WAC foes.
For the third year in a row Zapletal was named to the Second Team All-WAC.
The Bulldog duo also earned First Team All-WAC doubles honors. Zapletal received the honor for the third time, while it was the second time for Siwy. The pair went 5-1 in the WAC and 20-7 overall.
Freshman Boutillier and transfer de Villiers were named to the Second Team All-WAC for doubles. Both were newcomers to the WAC in 2008-09 and went 4-2 against conference doubles and 24-8 overall.
