No. 22 `Dogs Host UC Santa Barbara

FRESNO, Calif. - The No. 22 Fresno State softball team takes a break from Western Athletic Conference action by hosting UC Santa Barbara out of the Big West Conference on Monday in a doubleheader beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday at Bulldog Diamond.
Fresno State (23-15, 6-3 WAC) and UCSB (18-16, 2-4 Big West) will meet for the 69th and 70th times in the history of the programs. The Bulldogs hold the series advantage 58-10 and have won the last three, including sweeping the two-game series last season in Santa Barbara.
Sophomore pitcher Morgan Melloh will look for her 60th career victory tonight after picking up two wins last week and recording her 700th career strikeout.
The `Dogs have won five-straight home games against non-conference opponents and nine out of their last 12 games.
UCSB just dropped a three-game conference series at Cal Poly this past weekend.
"Join the State - Fresno State!" - The `Dogs host UC Santa Barbara Monday, April 6 in a doubleheader starting at 6 pm in Bulldog Diamond. It's Fresno State Faculty Appreciation Night and all Fresno State faculty and staff will receive FREE admission when presenting their Fresno State ID and can also purchase up to four more general admission tickets for $2 each.
