Red Fridays Coming This Fall

FRESNO, Calif. - This fall, Fresno State Athletics is looking for businesses and organizations to show their Bulldog Spirit each week with the promotion of "Red Friday" that could lead to free tickets, prizes and unique chance to showcase their organization in front of the passionate Red Wave.
"Our goal is to continue to paint the Valley red and this exciting opportunity is another way for the business community to support the Bulldogs," Associate Athletics Director Paul Ladwig said. "We are thrilled to find more ways to show our appreciation for our loyal fans, businesses and organizations. Red Friday is a celebration of Bulldog Spirit as the Red Wave only knows best."
Each Friday of home Fresno State football games, fans, businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate in "Red Friday" and become eligible for prize packages. Participating means decorating their place of business or work in a Bulldog game day atmosphere, wearing Bulldog red, and overall promoting the spirit of college football.
Businesses and organizations will be selected for their Bulldog Spirit each week. The first Red Friday is scheduled for Sept. 4.
The Grand Prize will be 25 tickets to that week's game, Bulldog Bucks from the Bulldog Shop, a game ball autographed by head coach Pat Hill and certificates for lunch. The Grand Prize winner will also receive recognition for their business or organization by appearing on Fresno State's official athletics web site, www.gobulldogs.com, and on the large video board in Bulldog Stadium during the game. Two second-place winners will be selected each week and will receive 10 game tickets and appear on www.gobulldogs.com.
TimeOut will be on the look-out for winners each Friday and fans are asked to submit photos of their place of business and co-workers by Noon each Friday to be considered to the following email address: timeout@csufresno.edu.
The Grand Prize and second-place winners will be announced through Fresno State Athletics' Twitter Account (FSAthletics) and www.gobulldogs.com. All photos submitted will be uploaded to Fresno State Athletics' Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/fresnostateathletics) with the winners and other selected photos will appear in a photo gallery on www.gobulldogs.com.
Get into the Spirit of College Football and join "Your Team" by participating in "Red Friday."

- Friday, Sept. 4 vs. UC Davis
- Friday, Sept. 18 vs. Boise State (White Friday to coincide with that night's Whiteout game)
- Friday, Oct. 16 vs. San Jose State (Homecoming)
- Friday, Oct. 30 vs. Utah State
- Friday, Nov. 20 vs. Louisiana Tech
RED ZONE SPORTS GRILL: THE OFFICIAL HOME OF THE FRESNO STATE WATCH PARTY
The Red Zone Sports Grill is the "Official Watch Party" sponsor for Bulldog Sports in 2009-10. This is the "official" place to watch the Bulldogs when they are on the road and on TV.

"We Are Your Team" - The `Dogs will be starting their 2009 Football season off right with Football Fiesta Night on Saturday, September 5th at 7pm when the UC Davis Aggies come to town.
