Bulldog Tailgating Snacks on Sale

FRESNO, Calif. - - The 2009 season is just days away and to get ready for Saturday's Football Fiesta Night against UC Davis, Fresno State Athletics is giving the Red Wave an opportunity to add a Bulldog flavor to their tailgate party with Fresno State Bulldog salsa, barbeque sauce and snacks.
These items are being sold thanks to a partnership with Fresno State Athletics and Yosemite Country Foods.
"We are always looking for creative ways to grow the Fresno State Brand and partnering with Yosemite Country Foods to present an offering of Bulldog Branded products to our fans is a win-win," said Fresno State Associate Athletics Director Paul Ladwig. "We are proud to introduce this line of snack foods and look forward to expanding the line in the near future."
The line of snacks being sold are dried fruits, trail mixes, candies, beef jerky, turkey jerky, tailgate barbeque sauces and game day salsa. These are available at The Bulldog Shop, the Meat Market, select Walgreens and the Market (formerly Catalanos) with additional retail outlets to be added shortly.
Yosemite Country Foods has been in business since 1991 and based about 30 minutes outside of Fresno. The line of trail mixes, dried fruits and bagged candies are packed by order by Yosemite Country Foods at their facility in the sierra foothills.
The line of Jerky is prepared and packaged commercially in a Southern California Facility for Yosemite Country Foods. Only USA Beef is used. Favorites are the lightly peppered Real Western, classic Teriyaki and the zippy Hot Teriyaki. The Teriyaki Turkey Jerky is from California turkeys.
The line of Game Day Salas and Tailgate barbeque sauce are commercially prepared just outside the California Sierra Foothills for Yosemite Country Foods. The game day sauces are "Revved for Red Chipotle Salsa", "Go Dogs Fire Roasted Salsa", "Fired Up Habanero Tailgate BBQ Sauce" and "Smooth and Spicy Tailgate BBQ Sauce".
Since the very beginning Yosemite Country Foods has been committed to recycle everything from paper to plastic in our facility. Packaging has been chosen to minimalist and functional with re-sealable bags.
"We Are Your Team" - The `Dogs will be starting their 2009 Football season off right with Football Fiesta Night on Saturday, September 5th at 7pm when the UC Davis Aggies come to town.
