Fresno State vs. Pacfic
Fresno State has an overall record of 3-8-2 against Pacific. The last meeting between the teams was in 2006 in Fresno and the Bulldogs lost, 2-1.
About the Tigers
The Tigers are 4-2-1 this season. Maricela Padilla leads the team in goals and points with four and 10, respectively. Angelica Figueroa leads the team in assists with four. Goalkeeper Jill Medigovich has 19 saves and three shutouts on the season.

The overall record against UC Davis is tied at 1-1. The teams faced off last season in Fresno, losing the game, 3-2.
About the Aggies
The Aggies are off to a 4-0-1 start this season. Rochelle Van Buskirk leads the team in points, assists and goals. She has seven goals, four assists and 18 points. Goalkeeper Sarah Peters has 11 saves on the year.
The Week That Was
The Bulldogs defeated CSU Bakersfield, 2-0, over the weekend winning the second annual Valley Cup. Claudia Cardenas and Callie Hancock scored the goals for Fresno State. Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Revel and the `Dogs defense recorded their first shutout of the 2009 season.
Valley Cup Winners
Fresno State won the second annual Valley Cup against CSU Bakersfield after beating the Roadrunners, 2-0. The `Runners won the first annual Valley Cup in 2008 after winning, 2-1, in Bakersfield.
Goooooooal!
Junior Claudia Cardenas scored the Bulldogs first goal of the season against CSU Bakersfield. Cardenas took a shot from 18 yards out for the goal. Within 10 minutes the `Dogs struck again freshman Callie Hancock got a through ball from Rachel Pickett and went 1 v 1 with the goalkeeper.
Assisting the Bulldogs
Molly Nizzoli and Rachel Pickett recorded the first pair of assists for the Bulldogs over the weekend. Nizzoli earned an assist after her deflected shot bounced to Claudia Cardenas who scored the first goal. Pickett played a through ball to Callie Hancock who score the second goal of the weekend.
Leading the WAC
Junior Kaitlyn Revel is second in the WAC in saves, save percentage and saves per game. She has 38 saves, .809 save percentage and 6.33 saves per game. She is third in the WAC in shutouts with one.
Claudia Cardenas and Callie Hancock are tied for fifth in the WAC in goals scored with one a piece.
Fresno State as a team has the second most saves in the WAC with 38.
Youth Soccer Month
The Bulldogs are celebrating youth soccer for the month of Spetember. All kids in the 8th grade and younger who wear their soccer jerseys will receive FREE admission.
"We Are Your Team" - The Bulldogs travel to Pacific to take on the Tigers on Friday, September 18th at 7pm. The Bulldogs will return home on Sunday, September 27th as they host Sacramento State in Bulldog Stadium at 2pm. September is Youth Soccer Month and all youth 8th grade and under will receive FREE admission when wearing their youth soccer jersey.
