POSTGAME NOTES AND QUOTES
Head Coach Pat Hill: "We played the triple option awesome. Our defense played well and our offense was very balanced. We responded well to the turnovers and didn't give up a point in the second half. I give a lot of credit to Cal Poly for playing hard. This was a good win. We didn't have all of our weapons. We held a couple guys out like (Jamel) Hamler and (Rashad) Evans because it's a long season and we have the WAC starting next week. We have Hawaii coming in here and that will be a whole new challenge. We have seen a lot of option teams this so far but Hawaii will be throwing it all over the place. Preparing for teams in the WAC is always a challenge. We are looking forward to it. Hawaii will be a great challenge and they are a very good team."
Senior linebacker Ben Jacobs "Every game is important and we knew Cal Poly would put up a fight. Our mindset was to come in and shut them down. It felt good to be back in Bulldog Stadium and it is the first time in a long time we have had seven homes in one season. We love playing here."
