Fresno State: An honors candidate entering his senior season ... a former walk-on who earned a scholarship with his hard work and consistent play ... has been Fresno State[apos]s top cornerback the last two seasons ... a consistent player and sure tackler ... has been a valuable member of the special teams unit ... has great toughness and loves to draw the opponent[apos]s best receiver ... has emerged as a good leader on the team ... will contend for All-WAC honors this season. (2009): Started all 13 games and was the team[apos]s top cornerback ... finished fourth on the squad in tackles with 53 ... named the WAC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Hawaii in which the Bulldog starting defense held the Warriors to three points through the first three quarters ... in that game he had a career-high nine solo tackles, forced a fumbled and batted down two passes ... had one tackle for a loss on the season and broke up six passes, a team high ... made seven tackles, five of them solo, in a game at Wisconsin. (2008): Played in all 13 games and started nine ... had 37 tackles, 16 unassisted ... had eight tackles and a tackle for loss against Nevada ... had a career-high nine tackles and his first career interception against Louisiana Tech ... had four pass break ups on the season. (2007): Squad member who saw limited action on special teams. (2006): Squad member. (2005): Walked on to the team and redshirted.
High School: Lettered four years in football and track ... earned team MVP honors and was all-league second-team on offense and defense ... had 700 receiving yards and 700 rushing yards, four interceptions, 30 tackles and 15 touchdowns.
