Lorne Bell Named GoBulldogs.com Athlete of the Week

Senior safety Lorne Bell, a Simi Valley native, recorded a season-high 10 tackles and a 25-23 win over Big 10 foe Illinois . That ties his career-best of 10 tackles, which he set in 2009 against Illinois on the road. It is also the second consecutive season that the Dogs finished the season with a win over a BCS opponent. Bell was also named the Most Inspirational Player by his teammates at the 2010 Awards Banquet. It is the second time he has won the honor.
