FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State continues its busy spring season this week at the University of Hawai'i John Burns Invitational, played at the Leilehua Golf Course just northwest of Honolulu. The field is strong, including defending NCAA champion Texas A&M, plus No. 22 Cal and No. 23 UNLV. The Dogs enter the tournament with the No. 46 national GolfStat ranking and are coming off back-to-back third place finishes in the first two tournaments this spring.

The Dogs continue a busy stretch competing at the USC Invitational March 1-2 at the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif.
About Last Week
Despite a rocky start with bogeys on two of his first five holes, sensational sophomore Bhavik Patel posted six birdies over his final 13 holes, including on No. 18, to blow away the competition the Fourth Annual University of San Diego Callaway Invitational. The tournament was played at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. The Bulldogs finished in third place as a team after shooting a round of 294 Tuesday.
