Fresno State and Cal Poly to Square Off

FRESNO, Calif. - The No. 22 Fresno State men's tennis team will look to maintain its perfect 6-0 home record, when it welcomes Cal Poly to the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center on Friday.
The Bulldogs cracked the Top 25 for the first time this season on Tuesday, when the ITA Tennis Rankings were released and placed Fresno State at No. 22.
The Bulldogs are 9-5 on the season and are currently riding a two-match winning streak. The `Dogs are lead by senior and 110th-ranked Tejesvi Veerepalli and two ranked doubles tandems -- No. 24 Rikus de Villiers and Remi Boutillier and No. 44 Taylor Leiby and Mirko Zapletal.
Cal Poly is 1-8 on the year, but has won one of its last two matches, including a 7-0 route of UC Davis.
The `Dogs are 15-4 all-time against Cal Poly.
After the match with the Mustangs, the `Dogs will next be in action on Sunday against New Mexico at the Wathen Tennis Center.
