Lone Star Road Trip for Men's Tennis

FRESNO, Calif. - The No. 27 Fresno State Bulldogs will travel to the Lone Star state to take on two Top 60 teams in three days.
The Bulldogs will first face No. 58 TCU on Sunday in Fort Worth, Texas, and two days later face No. 14 Texas Tech on Tuesday in Lubbock, Texas.
Fresno State is 12-6 on the season and has won five of its last six matches. Three of those wins came against Top 60 teams.
The Bulldog lineup features the No. 123 player in the country - Tejesvi Veerepalli. In doubles, junior Rikus de Villiers and sophomore Remi Boutillier are ranked 22nd in the nation.
TCU comes into the match with a 6-5, most recently defeating Sacramento State, 5-2. The Horned Frogs boast a ranked player, in No. 99 Zach Nicholas.
Texas Tech has one of the most impressive records in college tennis this season, at 16-1. The Red Raiders are currently riding a 14-match winning streak and have not lost since Jan. 30.
No. 15 Raony Carvalho headlines the Red Raider lineup, which also includes No. 63 Gonzalo Escobar. The Texas Tech doubles lineup is just as imposing with two ranked tandems - No. 18 Rafael Garcia and Carvalho and No. 23 Andre Stabile and Escobar.
The 'Dogs are 1-6 all-time against TCU and 1-1 against Texas Tech.
After the Texas road trip, the 'Dogs will fly to Honolulu, Hawai'i, to face conference foes Hawai'i on April 2 and Utah State on April 3.
