Making Noise in the 10,000
Three Bulldogs, Erick Garcia, Paul Zwama and Danny Vartanian, took on the 10,000-meter race over the weekend. Vartanian emphatically won his first collegiate 10,000 on the track at the Cal-Nevada Championships. The freshman timed a 31:22.61 to win the 10,000, beating the second place finisher by more than 10 seconds.
Sanders - Stepping It Up

Sanders ran a career-best time at the Stanford Invitational Friday, timing in at 3:46.72. His time is more than four seconds better than the No. 2 WAC competitor.
